A key component of the design is the transplanted hairline
. In nature, the hairline is not a line at all. There is actually a transition zone with an irregular border where the hair gradually becomes more dense. This border contains peaks and valleys of varying heights and there is variation of the spacing between the peaks and the valleys and of the density of hair.
